How long before Botox starts to kick in?
The botox will start showing in 24-48 with full results shown at 2 weeks.
How long does Botox last?
Botox approximately lasts anywhere from 3 to 4 months. It varies by person.
How long does lip filler last?
Lip filler lasts anywhere from 6-12 months. It varies by person and
the type of filler that was used.
How long does a lip flip/gummy smile last?
Although it is Botox, this procedure only lasts for 2-3 months due to
excessive use of the muscles surrounding your mouth.
What is the difference between Botox and Dysport?
Bodyscapes Med Spa offers two types of neurotoxins known as Botox and Dysport. Botox and Dysport are both FDA approved neurotoxins designed to relax the muscles for
about 3-4 months on average. Botox is a bigger molecule and can take about 5-7 days to start working within the muscles and takes14 days to reach full effect. Dysport is a smaller molecule and starts working within the muscles in about 2-3 days and just like Botox takes 14 days to reach full potential. Both are great products used by many clients and both products have reward programs that allow clients to acquire points when doing treatments that can lead to money off for future treatments.
How can I prepare for injectables?
It is important to avoid alcohol, Aspirin and Ibuprofen at least
48 hours prior to your appointment!
What happens if I'm not satisfied with my results?
Our goal is to provide complete satisfaction for all of our members and guests. If you ever have any issues or concerns, we’ll do everything in our power to address them quickly.
However, we prefer to let our guests speak for themselves. We have a perfect 5-star rating on Google Reviews which should tell you something about the level of care, dedication, and professionalism we put into all of our services.
Is there a consultation fee for new patients?
Yes, the initial consultation is $50. This amount can be applied
towards your treatment of choice.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that scheduling plans may change, so we are happy to reschedule your appointment in this case. Please provide at least 48 hours notice in the case of cancellation so that we have adequate time to fill that space with a patient on our waiting list. If you cancel within 24 hours, the card on file will be charged 50% of the service you booked for. If you do not show, the card on file will be charged 50% of the service you booked for.
Do you accept insurance?
No, we do not accept insurance. Although we are a medical practice, the services we perform are elective in nature and not covered by insurance.
What type of chemical peel is best?
At Bodyscapes MedSpa, we offer different types of chemical peel treatments. The peel formula selected will reflect the current condition of your skin, your level of sensitivity, your skin type and color, and the length of the recovery time you can afford. A light chemical peel, performed regularly, can keep your skin looking youthful, refreshed and glowing.
How often should I have a facial?
Adding a professional facial to your beauty regimen can keep your skin healthy, firm, and glowing, and ward off the development of wrinkles and lines. Cell turnover in the skin occurs about every three to four weeks, and a facial performed at those intervals will keep your skin looking its best.
How old do I need to be to receive treatments at Bodyscapes Med Spa?
Clients must be 17 years of age with parental consent and valid ID.
Can I do treatments if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
We do not see clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding unless
it is for makeup or spray tan.
What if I am late for my appointment?
We ask if you are going to be 5 or more minutes late, you give us a call at the spa. We always do our best to accommodate you or get you rescheduled for a time that works better for you if we cannot accommodate you that day.
